Question Turbo Options

I'm thinking of maybe upgrading my turbo , Injectors, F/P etc on a MY01 WRX.

I see loads of turbos for sale with various model numbers, but what options do I have ? I dont want to buy one and find its for a 95 Sti or something else. The numbers dont mean much to me, so any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Phil

How willing are you to break your gearbox? The cost implications of financing a robust alternative are going to far outweigh your other costs and considerations IMHO.

VF28 is also nice on the WRX, as is the VF34 - a little more responsive than the TD05, but don't flow as well at high revs (not an issue if you're still on TMIC). But whatever you do the injectors become the limiting factor - they're too small. If you'll be happy at around 300 hp, then raise the fuel pressure and remap. Otherwise budget on STi injectors and the remap.
