Unhappy PANIC. Powerless after Service

Hi guys,
Just had a 100k service (my first service on a Scoob since I only bought it 2 weeks ago). I was with the guy when he did it.
Oil & Filter change. Brake Fluid Change & Bleed. Top up all fluids. General check over. Given the all clear except for needing new rear tyres in the near future.

Drove away and car seemed a little quieter and easier to drive. Hard to explain really. Smoother gear changes (not the shift or the clutch - more like the ****** between gear changes). But when I got out of town and tried opening her up a little there was a definite lack of power). Tried up to 50% throttle after 3000rpm but just slow. Definitely some boost there as the car accelerated and "dumped" when I came off the throttle.

When I finally got off the motorway and on to the home A roads I gave flattened the throttle in 2nd and got some hesitancy and bit of boost then some more hesitancy and then a gradual pull. Backed off at about 6000rpm (probably the highest I have revved the car). Damn it was real slow.

Car not smoking, misfiring, idling funny or making odd noises. Just damned slow.

Now the Panic...... If its the MAF have I just damaged the engine? i.e. Has it been running to lean all 170miles home??!?!??

Car not smoking, misfiring, idling funny or making odd noises. Just damned slow.

I've only had the car 2 weeks and am very worried....

Anything I can look for or check? What should I do?

Cheers
Antony

Most likely an overfill of oil that has got into and blocked the boost control solenoid. This would mean that boost would be purely controlled by the wastegate giving about 7 psi (as opposed to 11 or 12 on a Uk turbo or WRX).

The car would run fine, just would not have as much punch as normal.

Best bet, obviously, is to take it back to the garage if they've only just done it.

If you fancy having a go at it yourself, put the car into test mode (connect the 2 green connectors under the steering column), find the boost control solenoid (it will be clicking in test mode), disconnect both pipes (or 3 on older models) and spray brake cleaner into it whilst it's clicking to clean out the oil.

The boost solenoid is bolted to the drivers side strut. Following the pipe from the T piece that connects the outlet of the turbo to the wastegate actuator.
