boost gauge fitting
I've just bought myself a boost gauge for the WRX (03).
Now, the installation manual says to cut the pressure pipe running to what I assume is the wastegate. The problem is, I'm not really into cutting pipes
Would it be harmful to just connect one end of the T-piece connector to the end of the pressure line and then extend the other side of the T-piece with another piece of tubing to connect to the wastegate?
Obviously, the volume in the pressureline will be slightly larger, but then again connecting the pipe that goes to the wastegate will already increase the volume of the pipework a lot more than my little short 'stump'.
Someone please shed some light
Oh btw, does the wastegate get hot during operation?
