Default Dawes with Tek2 17psi is Ok ?

Hi:

Yesterday I fit the Dawes Devices in my GT MY99.
I have Boost Gauge , Air/fuel Gauge and Knock Link and all Ok.

I set the max boost in 17psi in 4th and 5th, is too high or is Ok ?

Regards

A bigger hole in the dawes device is better for a MY99 ?

In my car what is best ?
1) Dawes device with 0.5 mm
or
2) Dawes Device with 1.5

My advice would be to ditch the dawes device as they are a crude way of controlling boost, i would go for some kind of elecronic boost control for the sake of your engine IMHO

i would argue that there not that crude, simple maybe, but not crude just effective

a bleed valve is crude, a dawse device is not IMO
