Default Which clutch for MY99??

As my engine is out the car the dealership has said that it would be a good idea to put a new clutch in, as labour etc is being paid for by the warranty company.

As I have been known to take it down the 1/4 mile, I think that an uprated clutch of some sort would be adviseable.

Dealer told me that there was a "modified clutch" for my year of car in their parts catalogue, however it requires a flywheel as well as the clutch plate itself.

Are there any other suggestions which I should be looking at??

Web addresses for places where I could get a clutch from??

I use the car at least every other day, in mixed conditions, however I do use it fairly hard so uprated is the way to go I think.

Thankyou for your help!!

Cheers,
Grant

lateral performance do a full kit. make sure it comes with a test certificate , 1400kg is the manufacturers stated clamping pressure.

AP but you need to re-use release bearing , or fit a new one. dealer will have them. I got mine from http://www.questmead.co.uk/ .best price I could find and great service. even if it is still sitting in the garage to be fitted

there is also daiken/exedy http://www.daikinclutch.co.uk/

if on a budget, andyf used to use a standard cover with a subaru my99 centre plate. I think they are about £80 from a dealer.
