Question AP Organic verses Sti clutch: The winner is?

After all my difficulties with my AP clutch (which is possibly down to my installation) is the clutch supplied for the Sti v3 by the factory the equal of the AP unit?
The cover pressing on the AP is the same source as the Sti, the AP spring looks weaker but I doubt it is. The driven plate looks much the same as each other.
Remembering the car is a hill climb car and all that, the original 25000 mile old Clutch was standing up to it all until the slicks caused a touch of slip once on the start line.
When I stripped the car, the driven plate was close to the rivits, but the cover and flywheel as straight as a die.

Any comments?

There was a monster thread by all the heavey hitters on this topic about the Lateral unit before this site was changed, I saved it, but all that was obliterated!

Anyone remember the outcome?
