Default Downpipe = blue smoke?

Hi guys

i recently got a TSL Group A open neck downpipe for my UK 97 turbo impreza

when i start the car in the morning and leave it run for 5-10minutes before starting journey off, when i pull off drive theres a little puff of bluey smoke... not huge amount and its only 1 puff then goes away....

is this due to the downpipe that the turbo and any excess oil that may have been there from previous journey has rested there and has been burnt off?

i had this problem when i had my Fiat coupe 20V turbo... and the turbo ended up blown and blue smoke everywhere i went.... clouds of it.

should i be worried?

Cheers
James

Am I right that your downpipe is decated, if yes then it's normal some smoke the first few minutes but quite rare to blown your turbo due to this small amount.
Have someone to check it behind of you...
