how do you guys rate shell helix ultra oil? im in kenya and it is between this and caltex (texaco in the rest of the world) fully syn.

 

Is it a turbo version you run? If so I would be tempted to source something with a higher viscosity. The Shell is 5/40 I believe and you are in quite a high ambient temperature? Is there no chance of obtaining a 10/60, 15/50 fully syn. at all?

nairobi is plesant - about 23-26 degrees year round. i think i can get get helix ultra in 15w/50 here. how do u rate it as an oil compared to mobil1/silkolene/royal purple/castrol rs, etc.
