Hi all

My 95 Legacy turbo has trouble running smooth whan cold and to a certain degree when warm. It basically doesn't seem to idle very well and it even cut out on me today aswell, it seams to drop below 500 revs and then pick up and again to idle. It goes fine and pulls very well however it does pop quite a bit even with flames sometimes between gear changes. The only modifications as far as i know is a decat centre pipe and back box.

Any ideas what could be causing this, the fuel consumption is normal so presume its not overfuelling?

Sounds like an ignition problem of some sort. Do these cars have coilpacks? Would check plugs, leads and coil packs

 

Yeah they do have coilpacks, perhaps there might be something up with these?
