Default Engine Warning Light Please help

Just been out for a small drive in my wrx 02. After about 5 miles the engine warning light came on. Never had this before. Recently had a Blitz Nur spec Backbox and centre section put on though, probly done about 300-400 miles on it without a problem. Any one have a clue? Don't really want to take it to subaru and get charged a bundle.

Where abouts are you? as i have the plug in Japanese and Korean diagnostics that enables full on board diagnostics and fault finding.

I had this problem in my MY01 a few months back, had it into the dealer 3 times, each time they got it on the diagnostics while I waited and never charged a penny, turned out to be faulty ignition key which I replaced. No more problems.
