Default Engine check light

Sad first post up can anyone help
Engine check light came on and engine does not want to idle anymore just cuts out.

Try posting this on the technical section. Some good guys on there.

You made any changes to the car recently?? Induction, exhaust.

Check all you turbo pipes are tight and not leaking or blown.
My first Scooby did this and it was a turbo inlet hose between the MAf and turbo.

Thanks HI Soob

Car has full decat and panel filter with remap done.
Thought it was fuel cut to begin with but check light on and lumpy idle then cuts out.
Could it be the maf sensor or lambda sensor ???
not too sure which one, any help much appreciated

MAF..........mine did the exact same thing............

Sounds like MAF but try an ECU check (Connect black connectors under the dash) this will give you the fault code
Do a search on "ECU reset" and this will point you in the right direction

MAF sensonr mate. Defo. Had this happen TWICE now!!!!! They are about £80-£90 2nd hand depending where u go.
Shop around.
