Default How much Gearbox and Diff oil?

Just done a quick search and I can find any info on the recommended oil and amount to fill the gearbox and diff...

I guess Syntrax is a good one to use, but didn't I read somewhere that putting alittle more oil in the gearbox helps cover 3rd gear better or something?...

any info would be great.

Thanx

People have had great success with redline shockproof lightweight on both differential and gearbox. It's nicknamed smurf p1ss due ot its colour.

Make sure you flush out the old lube before replacing with the good stuff.

edit: gearbox is about 3.5L (IIRC see your manual) and diff is approx 0.75L
