Has anyone fitted a Bailey DV12 dump valve to a 01my bugeye?
what are your verdicts on sound, performance (over standard), ease of fitting?
cheers

Hmmmm this has been done once or twice
Performance.... nil, you may actually loose some
Sound.... wooooooooosh, not even an advantage....
Reliability..... hmmmm fitting a VTA DV can cause you problems with fuelling believe it or not, due to the ecu not being able to comprehend whats happening, the worse case scenario is that you lean your fuel out every time you dump, then it goes very rich as it compensates (or is that the other way round? ) anyway, to gain the full advantage of one (well just your fuelling really) you would have to remap the car (not cheap!), remembering that leaning out isnt very good for your engine, and the standard re-circ is actually pretty good, it is recommended that you dont swap, but thats up to you, ive given you the worse case scenario, but the more mods you have, the greater chance you have of bigger problems.
