Question Short Shift

I install a MRT Short Shift in my 5 speed gearbox!!.
I have a MY00 with some modifications and I like it very much!!

But with it installed I can have some problems in the gear box?? Because pass 1 month of intalled this part the gear box start to scratch in I 5th gear at hi revs!!
So could it be of the short shift??? I think now in medium-Hi revs it does so I think that it is getting worse!!

Any help??

Best Regards

Are you sure the clutch isnt slipping ?
I doubt the shifter could cause any probs at all

Your short shift may be causing you to change gears more quickly (that's part of the reason for installing one) and you may be beating the synchro from 4th to 5th. Change from 4th to 5th more slowly at high revs and see if it disappears. It's not a solution, but it would indicate a worn synchro if the crunch is greater when fast changing.
