Which exhaust ???
Hi All,
Looking for some experienced input here.
Just fitted a Magnex back box to my 98 scooby turbo which sounds great, not to loud but a deep tone!!! Now I'm looking to fit a de-cat center section to get some power increase, I know there are two types resinated and straight through. Considering that the Magnex is relativly quiet what impact with either of these pipes have on the noise / power? What I'm trying to get at is on a sliding scale how much louder will it become with either of these pipes, eg twice as loud, three times as loud etc.
Not sure if I've explained myself to well but I've tryed. Any input would be much appreciated.

I have a ninja backbox, and tried both a resonanted and straight through on my 03 wrx, just with the resonated I found it louder than just the back box the straight through was to loud for my liking.

Might be interested in the pipe, I want to wait for a bit more feed back ref noise etc. What make is the pipe and how much do you want for it?
Cheers

never run a resonated c/section, but i had the exhaust done in stages and TBH i didn't find sticking the c/section onto the magnex b/box to be that much of a noise increase.

Have fitted 2 full decats in the past 2weeks
Janspeed open neck d-pipes both magnex rear boxes 1 round and 1 oval both magnex center 1 res and 1 non res drove them both res is deeper but not so burbley, non res more noise on boost but car pulled better,Apparantly only 2db's difference...My opinion is they are not offensive just rite
