Hi Im thinking of upgrading my standard back bok on my 04wrx. I want a system that increases the flat four burble.
What do you chaps suggest?
thanks for your help

If its just a back box that you are after, I would probably look for a second hand Prodrive WR Sport one in the classified's on here.
I had one on my 02 WRX before going for a full system from Power Engineering.
The WR Sport is a fine first mod and sounds great without being too loud, the quality is good too. I wouldnt buy one brand new though, at £350 they are expensive compared to some other after market ones.
I got my WR Sport on here for £160 and then sold it about 6 months later for £120 and went to a full system. Ive now got a full PE system with sports CAT and IMHO its one of the best out there. I went to TSL to have a look at their stuff and wasnt too impressed, also viewed some H&S pipes and again was dissapointed. Finally went to PE and was blown away by the quality of their gear, far and away better than anything I had seen elsewhere, and was well worth the long distance I had to travel to go see them.
Ofcourse, I dont want to upset folks on here that have the other brands I mentioned - its each to their own and Im sure they are just as happy with theirs as I am my own.
Hope this helps Andy

Hiya,
I have a H&S backbox. Very happy with it: deep flat four burble, loud enough to turn heads but not annoy the neighbours! :-) It's very subjective though, some prefer volume, others prefer a quieter more bassy note. I'd suggest getting to a few meets and listening to the ones others have fitted to their cars.
Best.
