FMIC - Which one?
Which FMIC would you go for:
Cost not an issue, but more reliability efficiency and ease of Install is…?
Greddy
Apexi
HKS
HyBird

Not to sure about the rest though.

HKS is a very well made bit of kit, with cast end cans and a nice core which has turbulators...
I used to have one, but it just isn't large enough for what I'm doing now, so I repalced it with the considerably larger Lateral Performance Intercooler and Rad.

Sam, how many times do you have to ask this question?
Value for money - HyBrid
Money no objet - HKS
I thought you were either buying the HyBrid from Harvey, or the 2nd hand HKS?

I bought a Acvr of this guy i know, who kinda messed up the urgent delivery..
So he has agreed to get me an intercooler at cost...from Japan
All the above apart from the HYBIRD is costing near £400 and a Greddy one for £450 (new)...

If the HKS is costing £400, then the HKS is the one i would go for IMO.

I can't remember which Intercooler Guiness has fitted on his car, it definately works well (400 brake 360lb/ft on stock Sti 3 internals). It's either a Greddy, Apexi or Cusco, but I can't remember which. I'll see if I can find out...

Steven, I'm pretty sure that it's not an MRT one, I've got a feeling that it's Cusco

based on that sentence....and not the list of "I wouldnt's"
APS for New age Car
Lateral FMIC / Rad combo for classic
Anything else is a compromise in terms of efficiency and ease of fitment.

I believe it can be built to flow left to right, right to left or either, it depends on what you want. This is it installed in Adams 22b.

You make the water pipes up, by cutting the standard ones down a bit for the Lateral Rad

HKS for 400 is a real bargain..
BUT you will (as TimW said) lose a chunk of your bumper.....
if you have big plans int he future- lateral
I have HKS and got a bargain thru Wallace Performance.. altho it wasnt £400- a fair bit more
