Talking Which Dump valve + air filter?

Just bought a wrx sti uk type was wondering if should get an aftermarket dump valve or just leave it alone, have heard that can cause a few problems!

Also thinking of getting replacement air filter (ie K&N) is this advisable or is the standard sufficient? Maybe different make might be better

bit of a newbie so any advice and help about any mods etc wuld be greatly appreciated

cheers guys

THE only air filter that i would recommend is the STi Panel filter, and even then, this could invalidate your warranty as its not an approved Subaru UK accessory.
DV's will also invalidate your warranty, you will gain nothing from it, if anything you will suffer bad fuelling due to it confusing the ECU.
Best thing to do is go for the PPP if you want more power
