Default Squeeky squeek squeek please help me

Hey guys,

Wanted to ask about one thing, I have the Impreza GT MY99 and I've been noticing this strange annoying sound lately.

My mechanic says itīs probably coming from the clutch and he thought it might be something in relation to the flywheel as well.

This is some sort of a squeeky sound and can only be heard in the first gears on low revs and you can also make this heard when jerking the gaspedal slightly.

This can also be heard when you go from standstill and start driving.

Does anyone here have the slightest idea what this might be and how I can fix it?

My clutch is relatively unused and my gearbox is in perfect condition.

Best Regards,

Anderson

Lip on rear brake discs rubbing?
Try lifting the handbrake SLOWLY when on the move and see if it has any effect.

Does the noise seem to come from the bulkhead area ?
I had the same sort of noise , when pulling away or hard acceleration i would get a squeek.
What i found was the the rear engine stabilizer bar which fits from top of gearbox to bulk head ( under intercooler ) was loose....just tightend the 14mil bolt and cured the noise...
Worth checking :-)
