Gearbox. If fluid's low you need to fill it up where the dipstick fits in (very awkward so most people use some sort of funnel/hose to reach the hole). Use 75w90 fully synthetic oil, Castrol Syntrax is one of the best.

If you find the sidelights will not turn off there is a small switch on the top of the steering column! Another newbie FAQ?

You can top up the gearbox through the gearbox dip stick hole. Use transmission oil 75w-90. Check when hot. fill to the top mark or marginally over.
