Default Headers etc...

Need your help again folks....
I will soon be fitting a full decat system onto a 2001 bugeye wrx , including 3" downpipe and a 3" Hyper system ... It's going to the Scooby Clinic next week for fitting, .. the question is... Is it worth fitting an uppipe at the same time... and also , I am thinking of fitting a set of headers as well... if I do, what sort of increase will the uppipe and headers give me over the decat system... and is it recommended? Do I need to do anything to the intake side as well, before I get it remapped...
Thanks again folks..

if you are going for tek3 i would say change them as over all you will prob be looking at extra 20 or so bhp and 20 or so torque ..but as for induction you would be better keeping away from ind kits and going for a good pannel filter and also the turbo will be the limiting factor ie TD04 better going for F/E TD05 or VF24 28 35 and walbro 255pump and reg you will see a big difference 300bhp + is easy .

There is also the theoretical possibility of melting the cat in the up-pipe and spraying debris onto the turbo, particularly with a TD05

I hear that the ported OE headers are good for 300+ BHP (well thats what my Bugeye has, lol)
