Default !!! Fitted 55cc Injectors lastnight !!!

Fiited injectors as above, What a job, Would of been slightly easier with no front mount pipe work, How well do the injectors hold !! Ended up pulling out with adjustable pliers & loadsa elbow grease

Anyway in all the threads nobody mentions to power steering pump pipe work brkts fowl the top of the injector covers due to there increased height , A modified brkt was made for my application

Also noticed now that the 550's are more audiable & much tickier than the 380's !! Is this correct ??

Was quite nerving when the car is 1st started 1.5 cylinders fire, then 2 , 2.7 , 3 cylinders, 3.9 & then all 4 & she starts to sound normal again.

Lets hope the mapping goes well now

I refitted original top caps minus the rubber and they are the same height as standard and no problems with pipework.

extra noise is normal... mine sounds like a tap dancer having a fit.

Hmm did wonder whether to remove the rubber when i was fitting them, but thought it would help with vibration reduction. Plus had little brass inserts in the kit to stop the tops clamping down to far, Well im not going to strip down again to swap it, They will just have to stay like that.

Thanks on the noise clarification

Cut the rubber in half (to make it half as thick)
