Hi,

I have a recon VF23 turbo, from 'icecole', but I am thinking of getting it given a once-over by someone to make sure it's okay. Who would you recommend and what sort of price is a service/inspection? (Turbo Dynamics/Turbo Technics?)

Also, has anyone got any pictures of the turbines either side of the turbo - I am curious as to what the bolts/fixings that hold the turbines on look like - the exhaust side of my recon looks a bit odd!

well, its best demonstrated by a picture - maybe me being paranoid

Thinking about it, it looks deliberate - there are two ridges that span out at the same angle as the cut-out bit - oh what technical talk

The exhaust side looks exactley like the one on my spare VF22. I though it was some sort of balancing weight/nut.

Looks Ok to me too..The notches out of it are to balance the spindle
