Has anyone had scooby ecu done at scooby clinic if so what did they think.
£375 they are quoting fitted and tuned. They seem very friendly and knowledgeable.

I also wanted to know whether it was the same piece of kit that Dave Wallis was using.

Hi, we have had a lot of success with these ecu's, should be even better when our rolling road is fully commisioned in Jan, this will enable us to give a before and after print out of BHP and torque then you can see the gains before you feel them.
Hope to see you next year.
Cheers Adam.

Wink

I had a scoobyecu custom mapped by myself and ran a conservative 320hp @ Power Engineering - would have gone higher on this but have now moved onto an Apexi FC

Cheers

I ran a scoobyecu before swapping it for a link ecu. Initially from David wallis, and then custom mapped twice at Scoobyclinic after mods. Would highly recommend.

A scoobyecu is a scoobyecu, it's the maps that differ.

Basically it is the same kit as David Wallis, Pavlo, Scott Taylor, Pat, Myself, Dnb etc all use as it uses the expansion socket on the 92-96 board. A chip is then put in which is then mapped accordingly.

David Wallis, Pavlo, Pat, Myself etc offer a 'off the shelf' map for a basic upgrade as well as the custom tuning which obviously costs more.

ScoobyClinic offer a custom tuning service using the chip is a bespoke map just to your car. For £375 fitted and tuned is a very fair price. They are also excellent from reports about them.

Jon.
