Daz, just doing this exact thing myself this week.
Before i started I asked lots of questions, and it seems general practice to wrap everything, from 'heads' to at least the start of the centre section. Tricky part is the turbo itself, though you can buy 'turbo bags' from Demon Tweeks ($$) or look at www.agriemach.com. I'm thinking of lagging the steel turbo shield (inside it) instread.
Take a glipmse at my thread in Projects for some pics.
you will be surprised at how much lagging you will use (and how tedious the job is.)
After that, I'm told to spray the whole lot to seal the cloth, about £6 for a tin, black or aluminium, again from Agriemach.

i've gone through about £200 worth of wrap so far and still got some to go, never seems to be done. All painted with barbi black paint, does the trick.
Metal cable wrap/ties from RS comps.

*Tip 1* Wear gloves when wrapping
*Tip 2* Use a jubilee clip at the start and end of the wrap to hold it in place (easier to undo and adjust the wrap if your not happy) You can aways replace it with other clips after its finished if you want.
*Tip 3* Wrap header joints/ up pipe flexy with a seperate length of wrap.
If you know the length and bore of the pipe there is a formula on Agrimech for working out how much you need.

Jesus! I actually did all 3. Used the stupid special clips they sell, but they have no grip, so also used stainless (mig welding wire) to supplement them.
Will be using aluminium coloured spray when it arrives, now delaying the installation...

I'm lucky, got a roll of stainless locking wire from work
I wrapped the headers and held the ends with jubilee clips.
Then tucked each end of the wrap under it's self and resecured the jubilee clips, then criss-crossed the locking wire over the length of the wrap like a net
And finally sprayed the lot with silver hi-temp paint.
A bit of over kill but I don't want t do it all again because an end came loose

hehe, done all the above then wrapped the lot in sticky back tinfoil to stop the hot air escaping........which was very very effective for a few weeks .........until the tinfoil started to detach itself and now its just a bloody mess

We used that foil at work, brilliant to start with, but will corrode like wildfire, goes black, then white, then (nearly) drops off. Looks awful!
I'll just spray mine (aluminium) and leave it at that.
