Default is there any difference between...

an Sti 7 intercooler and the ones that come on the stis afterwards?
could do with quick responce please

Except STI Spec C I/C that is slightly bigger than both STI7-8!

ok great.. what about the APS SR 375 TMIC? how would that compare to the sti intercoolers? as i have been offered both.. unsure on price of APS though

Almost double size from the standard STI I/C, bar and plate core contrary to tube and fin of the STI item and you need APS I/C "Y" hose and APS air duct/splitter to fit it properly.
