differences between uk and import
wanted to know if there are any differences between a uk short block and a import block any info would be appreciated
have a wrx sti import need a few bottom end bits like crank been offered 1 of a uk

Until recently [STi 8 import] all 2 litre cranks were/are the same. EVEN non turbo ones. So no worries to fit anything, just look out for the moved position of the thrust bearings between phase 1 and phase 2 cranks. 1 has it on the centre main bearing, 2 has it on the rear. There was a crossover crank that did both, but it got deleted by Fuji heavy.
DO NOT use a ground crank in an STi if it isn't standard and perfect it WILL give you trouble.
