Question Extra sensor in HKS Decat DownPipe?

Just noticed that my HKS decta downpipe appears to have an extra sensor. Was removed by garage to pass MoT and when looking at it, there's the hole for the lambda sensor but half way down there is another sensor with two wires coming out (which have been cut?). Anyone any ideas as to what this is used for, as planning on putting it back on?
cheers
