Default What Garrett CHRA in ION450?

If I understand correctly, the ION450 turbo uses a Garrett core. Which one is used? Which compressor cover and turbine housing are used?

When someone doesn't want to post in public, a PM will do.

Mark.

T04E compressor cover, IHI P20 turbine housing. Core is a GT30-11. Or it might be a -10, but I think the label said -11.

Is it that small? Thought it would be -12 or -13.

Hence the 450 BHP potential on Optimax without additives.

So a -13 should do for my 500 - 550 HP goal! Think I will take a -14 though with 0.82 AR exhaust housing. That one has the GT35 compressor with 65 Lb/min flow capacity.

I know who's saying this!

I firstly want to build the fastest Sub in the Netherlands, after that I will probably fit a smaller turbo to suit my personal needs.

I will release a small part of my plans: In my silver MY99 turbo I want to fit a complete MY05 STi suspension (alloy wishbones front and rear and Spec-C geometry) including hubs, brakes, differentials, etc., JDM 6 speed gearbox with DCCD (with some sort of motorsport controller), stripped interior with lighter seats, alloy or carbon hood, 2.35 engine (US closed deck 2.2 block, 2.5 crank, CP pistons and Arrow rods), JUN cams, homemade inlet manifold, etc.

When I start the whole operation, I will post in the projects forum.

This turbo sounds very interested!
Were somebody can purchase this turbo to try it?
Or is it a custom made turbo?
Any flow maps?

Thanks

Christos
