Default Urgent Help - new member

Excuse my ignorance.

Just bought a 2001 WRX 5 door and have been offered an exhaust system from a 2004 STI from my friend:

a/ will it fit.
b/ is it an upgrade
c/ How much is it worth (excellent condition - 4 months old) full system except manifold

A/ It should do
B/ Hmmmm; not that much but it has a nice tail pipe...
C/ Not much; there are lots about; mostly Prodrive downgrades

Thanks Simon.

The full system is only £65.......and I agree, tailpipe looks better.

It's either that or a WRSport back box from a Prodrive Performance upgrade.....what'd you pick? Think the WR Back box is stainless steel.

Depends what you are looking for mate.

The Standard STI backbox will not give you the deep burble, where as the WRSport back box will.

By all acounts there will be no performance gains (the STI one flows quite well compared to the WR)

Personally I would go for the WR Sport B/B and when you want to start removing CATs (or fitting high flow ones) you already have a S/Steel Back Box fitted.
