Unhappy Auto transmission trubbles....

Hi,

I'm new to this so please be gentle!

I have a WRX Wagon (1994 import) which I love! Recently the auto box haxe been making horrible noises so I aquired a replacement for my local dealer to fit. The replacement gearbox (TZ 102ZB3AA) is very slightly different from the original one (TZ 102YB3AA). Once fitted the new box was not right, so the dealer blamed the transmission ECU, which was duly changed for an alternative.

this resulted in a different set of problems..

Can any body help - I believe the replacement gearbox may be from a legacy(!) but not sure. It there a specific ECU that should be used with a box of that No.

If anyone can shed any light or give me any info on this I would be most grateful.

Heeeeeellllllpppppp (please!)

I can't help you BUT, call David on www.apiengines.co.uk and that will get you sorted without bull or rip-off.
