Do I need a 3 port Boost solenoid if i have a Blitz Controller?
An issue I need your help on.
Just as above,; I have a project thread going and have come to this question.
The car will have an Apexi FC/Commander ecu, and i already have a Blitz in place. Do i need a 3 port also instead of the stock 2 port?
If so, why and how to connect with the Blitz?
hope you can help as usual!

If you find you need a 3 port, I have a brand new Apexi 3 port solonoid here that I would be willing to sell. I bought the Apexi Boost control kit from Andy as I needed the newer map sensor from the kit but my MY95 has the 3 port solonoid as standard.

Do you intend to continue using the Blitz boost controller? Does it have it's own solenoid valve?
If so then you don't need the 2 or 3 port 'OEM' solenoid valve. If you intent to use the PFC to control the boost level then you would be better using the 3 port.

Here's a dilema for ya The Apexi can control the boost using the oem 3 port solenoid - The Blitz boost controller does have a seperate solenoid to control the boost which is shown in your piccies HERE Now the dilema is which would be better controlling the boost??? as they cannot be used together, what Blitz boost controller is it?
I am using the same ECU but using an AVCR to control the boost
Cheers

OK, seems not too bad. The Blitz has been perfect since installed/set by Power Engineering, so keen to keep it.
I'll ask Andy when he fits the Apexi to choose!
I think he will go for the 3 port as he was keen for me to fit one.
