Unhappy Clutch gone........ going to hurt the wallet !

Guys, the clutch on my JDM WRX wagon has started slipping.
Has anyone got any recommendations for where to get a replacement fitted, but at a resonable cost. (Essex area would be nice)

Get a Borg & Beck Clutch for about £105 - £115.

Then shop around for the fitting it should be around £150 for just the fitting.

Craig.

Borg and beck a good reaonably price option. Make sure you get the flywheel skimmed though . Got mine fitted by local gearbox specialist for £250 inc skimming and crank bearing. Done 2000 miles on my B@B without any problems. Subaru will quote you £680 and that doesn't include the flywheel which they will happily fit for £300.....

Cheers guys for the responses.
Sounds much better than the shock horror £700 that I got quoted yesterday !

Will go for the Borg & Beck for sure and get a local garage to fit it.
Cheers again.

I got mine fitted at scoobyclinic. They supplied and fitted their uprated clutch for £375 all in. They also fitted an aftermarket flywheel (that I'd bought from elsewhere) for free. The job was done in 4 hours during which time I borrowed their courtesy car FOC and went into the town, had a mooch about, went to the cinema and then to McDonalds for a spot of lunch. When I returned, the car was waiting for me.

Highly recommended!
