Boost Gauge & Pod Fitting...
Hi Team,
I have just Had a boost gauge and pod delivered and could do with some pictures of fitted one's please.
I could do with a few engine shots of where the pipe joins in and also the route the pipe takes through the bulkhead etc... I have the pod that fits the door pillor and it needs trimming to fit, has anyone done this or got some pics of one fitted.
What is the best place to take the power from ?
Thanks
Simon
Hang on just realised this should be in accessories... Mod's if you could move it please.

You've picked a nice easy gauge to start of with.
Don't know what version Impreza you have but if it's anything like mine (v2)then you may well have a small T/piece adapter already on your car. One port of this adapter will be blanked with a peice of rubber tubing. To locate it take a look at your manifold you can't miss it if it's there.
Check out this link for all your wiring and vacuum run info.
I found on my car that the r/h hole as mentioned in Stef's site was already pretty busy with wiring already so i needed another exit. This i found on the l/h side by the ECU. If you have air con in your car you'll see the drain pipe here. A good spot this to run any wires / tubing you have in mind.

Wow I was not expecting such a detailed couple of replys
Very informative web sites indeed !!
I have a MY00 without air con... not sure of the version but I have a couple of engine pics... I see exhactly where I need to go too !!
Thanks Gents this should be a lot easier than I had expected to fit, my only concern is have I got the right type of pod.... it's the one that fits on the winscreen pillar and is needs trimming to fit, I'm thinking I should have got more the corner pod. Hmm do I cut it and attempt to fit it or sell it and buy another just in case I **** it up.
Thanks
