just got back from andys after getting the car mapped , what a difference this has made i feel like i have went from a td04 to a td05 again. the power comes in soo much better 1bar of boost at 3000rpm and full boost 1.5bar at 3300rpm

also i dont think my day could of ended this way with out the help of all the lads at http://www.powervehicles.com/ cheers guys now if anyone is worried about driving to andy with aftermarket parts on before a map i would recomend these guys to fit the parts then its just a 10 mile drive to andy's and get the car mapped

Hey Steve, so how's the MRT pipe plumbed in then? IIRC there is no port for the D/V on it?

I've had no direct experience of JVS but a good friend of mine bought an Evo 7 through them. Within two days the clutch was u/s. To be fair they did replace the it and incurred all charges themselves. However, they screwed up when fitting it and in the end the clutch they fitted had to be replaced along with the flywheel. Naturally they didn't fit the second one but did still pay the bill.

In my view the matter was handled as best possible but it was alot of hassle for my friend to be without a car for so long in addition to the grief/stress that comes with a situation like this.

Carl, ever the cynic.

PS: Steve, do you just add £50 to the cost of every mod you do to cover the remap?

Steve, what i'm saying is they attempted to repair the clutch, screwed it up and then paid to have it repaired properly. Like i said, i believe the case was handled as best as it could have been. However, IMO they should have been able to fix the clutch themselves. I'll continue to use the garage that fixed the clutch properly.

For the record i wouldn't hesitate to use JVS if the need arose. I do feel as though there is a terrible amount of hype built up around companies on BBS like this one - not all of it justified IMO.

Anyway, how's the pipe plumbed in Steve? You running minus D/V?

So what other mods were done apart from the MRT inlet pipe?
