Generic advice here... since your ignition timing will be linked to manifold pressure you will need changes based on the larger bore, but you could take a 2.0 ignition map and retard it in the high load areas to start with. Fuelling - you have roughly double the fuel flow at similar pressure to the stock 380cc injectors, and about 23% extra capacity. Adjusting constant = 380/740*2457/1994 = 0.63. These are just starting points and ideas of course. Try running on actuator control initially and get it starting, idling, cruising right before using boost. Always monitor the wideband and knock. Never copy another's map blindly especially on a speed density setup using different components.

harbering1, forgive my ignorance, but would those settings also work on a pre 96 link ? And if I may be so bold, is this a start map or a running (tuned) map ?

Could i get a little help with this one? Why would there be more fuel at say 6000rpm at full vacum than the same rpm with full load? on the map above.

Not looked, but it could be weighted to engine load - a multiplier rather than an number in injector milliseconds.

John is right and the further you move away from a std engine the more skewed the numbers become as the load factors become less applicable.

Simple things like changing the fuel pressure regulator can skew the map, the effect of tubular headers is very significant.

thanks i was thinking along those lines as well. the link book says nothing about load being a muliplier but it dosn't really say much at all about anything.

If the difference in values between the lowest load and highest load is only a factor of about 1.5, then you know it is including load. If on the other hand, it is several times more, it is likely to be an injector time or derivative of it. Trouble is, then with an 8 bit map you wouldn't have much detail around the low load areas as the quantisation would be great.
