hi all,
i'm currently running uk my00 turbo with full decat and sti panel filter.. TD05 turbo as standard i think ... (still quite new to all the numbers and stuff
)
i ran 254bhp and 259lb/ft at power engineering ... not too bad i thought.
question is would i benefit from a tek3/map tweak? or should i be satisfied with the results?
.. would like to aim for 290 - 300 bhp and torque.. if that safely possible.
would i need bigger injectors, fuel pump, bigger i/c to get those types of figures ?
could you recommend a mapper near to kent for the above if i go that route.
terry

Sorted ECUTEK map with your existing set-up might get you ~280bhp, but a better spread of power, nicer torque etc and generally be nicer to drive. Not quite your target power, but to get 300bhp you might well need new turbo, fuel pump, injectors, ideally intercooler etc - i.e. quite a lot more money - by which time you may as well go for 320, or 340, and so the spiral begins!

Terry 3333 figures sound good to me.
I'm running a UK MY00, full decat, Sti filter and tek 3 remap and on all these getting 247 bhp and 253 ft/lb torque, which i thourght was quite low.
Would love to get 270/280 ft/lb of torque.
Drives very smoothly though.
