Re map ?????
I`ve got a 97 wagon with prodrive ecu , boost increased to 1 bar ( via Dawes Device) and a full 3" de-cat. I`d like to have it mapped to get the best out of of my mods. I`ve spoke to a few places But its seems they just want to supply and map a different chip which works out expensive. But i just want mine remapping. Is this possible ? Anyone help ?

Well some bad news for you im afraid you cant remap your ecu, so if you want a remap its going to be on a different ecu, id speak to Jap innovations or Andy F for info on what you can do.

The problem is the 98 cannot be remapped as Tony has been saying.. well one place do it.. Power Engineering I believe but it will cost you more than I quoted for an Apexi.

if it has a slanty intercooler then it must be a 96.. check out the www.sidc.co.uk and look at the FAQ and check the chassis number to see year.
If it is a 96 then Paul at Zen can remap it..

Apexi, Link, GEMs.
Apexi would be your cheapest and most like original ecu once installed.
Link you can lose the MAF sensor.
Gems you have anti lag to make lots of pops and bangs and can lose the MAF sensor. lol
The only other problem with 96 is the map sensor tops out at around 1.15bar so you need to have another way of increasing the boost beyond that and controlling it..
Dawes being the cheapest.. Apexi AVCR the more expensive but proper route or the Apexi has a boost kit, but all getting more expensive.
I am having to be careful not to get a wrist slapped for advertising.. but I can do any of the above.
Or get Zen to remap with a scoobyecu.. and I think Pat via Scoobyclinic might be able to do that too.

lol @ Andy.
Andy was trying to say that I had been trying to net another mapping job and that I had failed..
A friendly jibe if you like.
I hope I was giving advise rather than just trying to hard sell something, please do tell me if that is not the case.
I sent two people wanting ECUTek your way so far this week Andy.
Thanks and goodnight
