tek3 for import 99 wrx.
Hello all,
It looks like im keeping my car, so im going to tune it a bit.
Its a 37000mile my99 v5 wrx with a very good condition motor that rarely hits the redline, i have a scoobysport decat mid and tail box. K&N replacement panel filter.
What do i do for a more torquey motor, im not after BIG horsepower, just more punch out of the corners.
My turbo is the same as the P1 from memory.
Downpipe, and which one?
Tek3 ecu and remap?
I have new replacement suspension but im still on 2pots, so need brakes too. Are the 4pots worth going to, or splash out more for better.....although I am a big believer in sensible speeds entering a corner and as such very rarely have many problems with brake fade. Im also not a straight line drag racer.
Im after a little LESS noise too, it does sound very nice, but I live in a sleepy part of town and work late some times....
Any help much appreciated.

andy scouser Regards down pipe go hs and ecu in the car gets maped you don't get another with a tek3 remap .look on ECUTEK for the model of ecu ie look under carpet in passenger footwell theres a metal plate with 4 ten mm nuts remove and you will see what ecu you have .Then go to ecutek and see if your ecu is listed
