Red face Spark plug gap too wide

Eeer think I've ballsed up

Changed plugs as routine maintenance and fitted new plugs with 0.85 gap, which I though was what the Workshop Manual said.

But have seen info on here that for 97UK standard turbo the gap should be 0.7

Am I risking knocking or something else. I know I'll have to sort it out, but advice in the meantime most welcome, I will not have the time to do it for about a week.

Be gentle I guess ?

You may risk the engine miss-firing/hesitating with the gaps that size - re-gap them to 0.7mm

Cheers
