Default Adjustable Centre Diff

Sorry if this post is simular to the other Diff post that has just been put up but i needed something more specific and ive tried searching the forum already

What kind of work etc is needed to put the Adj Diff in my 95 WRX ?

Is it a farly simple job or a real complicated one ?

How much roughly is it going to cost for parts, and possibly labour etc ?

Any advise or links to read up would be great

Thanks in advance for any help

If you have not done this before then it is quite involved and probably beyond the average home mechanic.
You need an electronic centre diff. This is the section that bolts on the rear of the gearbox. You then need the wiring loom and swith gear. After market ECUs are available from Gems to make the electronic centre diff fully active and you can even map your own settings to have a custom active diff map. Applying the handbrake opens the diff regardless of settings so you then have a Subaru capable of handbrake turns.
The expenditure will be signifigant in relation to the value of a 95 M/Y car so think carefully.
Specialists who could do this type of work include John Pye Motorsport or TEG Sport.
