Default Controlling DCCD, 6MT Classic

The 6MT is mounted and working in my classic MY98, so next would be to take control of the DCCD.
One option would obviously be the Neetronics DCCD controller, like e.g. hmhaga has, but shouldn't it be possible to control the DCCD just by feeding power to it, and vary the voltage using the C-diff roller switch ?
At least that's what I have understood, that the roller switch varies the output, but is it between 0-5 volts, or maybe between 0-3 ? Anyway, the big question is, should the switch be fed with something lower than 12 V, does any one KNOW for sure?

I have switches like these two available, but I guess I won't have any use for the second one in a setup like this.

Should have asked "back home" first maybe.... thanks malinen!

I've been doing some DCCD reading today, and apparently there are some options out there, just need to decide on how much I want to spend (more money? No, not again!!!!).
One thing is for sure, my rear diff will most probably be a vvvvery weak point in this setup.

I will most probably NOT use it, but I'll have to wait and see how I handle this whole thing first. I'll let you know.

Damn it, my mapping/dyno session today was ruined due to lack of a DCCD controller.
It was not possible to drive the car on the dyno with the DCCD completely unlocked, at WOT it was ok, but when lifting the throttle it sounded like the the front diff (or something...) was about to explode.

Need to get the controller asap, so I can get my car tuned!
