I've done about 7K miles in mine. The novelty of its performance has in no way diminished. Running the car on Castrol GTX Magnatec 10-40 & have had the oil changed 3 times from new.

When is it generally assumed that the engine is 'run in' (whatever the exact technical term of this means) ?

Have other P1 owners noticed a general performance improvement & then a plateau ?
