Question

Replacement Dump Valve's are these a waste of money, do they cause more probs to the cars set up ( Standard Cat with S/S ) or do they help prolong the turbo's life? give more boost? as well as sound nice. Could someone explain the 2 types or correct me on any of the above.
Thanks
RL
