You can not expect a credible answer from a man who wears a baseball cap 24hrs a day. Innit?

Erm, you already have one, it's just a recirc....
If you want the noise and running big enough figures for the standard spring to be too soft then get a VTA.
Otherwise if you don't like psssssssst then the standard will cope to pretty modest bhp.

That's so true. There was a VTA type on my Legacy when i bought it and my mechanic told me it was better to replace with an original recirculating one but that "it was no real problem" to keep the Sard one.
Obviously i was addicted already, from Day1.

what is it with text speak? we have full qwerty keyboards and no letter limit!
why must people persist in corrupting English.
and it is QUIET not quite,
quite means "to a degree", not the absence of sound.
and while we are at it, when you have purchased something, you have bought it, not brought it, unless you had to carry it from somewhere else to where you are.
Attack me all you will, I am not going to apologise, I am just fed up with people being too lazy to learn the language of the country they live in!

why bother? if there is nothing wrong with your standard one leave it alone. If you crave embarassing chav noises, then buy one.
Damn easy to fit, two jubilee clips and a vacuum hose clip.

I used to have one in my classic...took it out after 2 weeks...after being told again and again it sounds like a Bus door opening and closing...
