Question

Sorry to bring up the age old problem of piston slap again but . . .

I've got a late MY97 Sport with 68k on the clock that sounds like a diesel when I start it up. Is this piston slap ? If so, do I need to get it fixed ? Will it cause more damage if I don't? I've got warranty left.

Can anyone help give me ammunition before I phone Subaru for repairs ?

Thanks for any help in advance.
