ohhh, compressed air!
How do I get my car to make this noise?
Prefer not to spend £200,000 on a rally engine..... any easy (cheapish) way to get this noise?
Cheers

Remove the bov, up boost, wait for either:
a, The turbo to explode.
B, Pistons getting holed, or maybe even peeking out.

With a BB turbo some peeps say that removing the BOV is perfectly safe...although the IC and pipes will get stressed as well.
IIRC someone explained this to me a while ago, the preassure actually doubles when U close the throttle - this sounds as bad news for the IC and preassure pipes.
The air now has to find a way out of the system = back to the turbo....and it'll make that chatterish sound.
The sound depends on which turbo, and how much boost you're running.
I believe Pat or Felstead could explain this in a more appropriate way.
