On my way to my mum's for xmas put it in third then 'crunch crunch' no third gear and can't find fith!

Might try a stronger box out of a P1 if i can find one? along with the rear diff?

Find a V5 or V6 box and diff, as they are stonger all round. Try David at Welcome to the API website.

Find a V5 or V6 box and diff, as they are stonger all round. Try David at Welcome to the API website.

Crikey, Do you just ram the thing into gear no matter how much it resists, clutch or no clutch. ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Sorry I'm speakingout of term, thats either bad luck or your running a fair few horses under the bonnet, or someone with a left arm built like a tree trunk and left leg like a twig has been changing gear with them.
Were the boxes second hand? It's one reason why I rarely buy 2nd hand stuff or salvage anymore without putting enough aside for a full rebuild and recon (I learnt that the hard way myself
).
Either way something ain't working with that setup. So a stronger rebuilt box is definetly called for

Yea i regret to say they were second had boxes? Don't really rag it all the time only use it at weekends? Have got quite an agressive clutch fitted to it and only runnin 305bhp?
I've got and old box at work and gunna look into the costs of gettin it reconditioned?
