Folks,

I've now had the STi for 5 weeks now and am absolutely loving it but it's just a little too quiet for my liking, especially when just pottering about town.

Can anyone suggest a replacement backbox which might give it a bit more bite. I'm not looking for really really loud or in your face, just something with a little bit of a edge.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Miltek system from Powerstation.

Roger Clark Motorsport do exhausts for them too.

No doubt Haywood & Scott do them as well.

 

i've got the fll milltek sysatem on mine. reasonably quiet (good level) when just popping about but sounds great when on the loud pedal - i think powerstation has a sound file on their website

My favouritest exhaust ever!.I simply can't praise it enough.

Beautiful quality,slightly angled exit.Nice and neighbour-friendly,but roars like a good-un higher up the rev range.

...dare I go as far as to say its made my car feel a lot livelier?,(well)compared to the other jap-styled monstrosity that I had a while ago anyway
