If they are not worn excessively and under warranty let the dealer do it. If they are worn, replace.
If you want to do it yourself -
1. Try a few decent stops!
2. Take the wheels off, retaining pins and pads out, clean them checking no stones in the works, copper grease the backs and the pins and replace. Don't do this and kill yourself with no brakes - do it if you are confident.
